There has been some investigations amongst the staff regarding the crashing problem with Thaumic Energistics.

There is an unresolved bug between TE and Forge Microblocks where, if you put a microblock in the same block space as an ME cable, it converts the cable into a Microblock. Internally in the game, this injects an extra code path into the function of the cable.

But also that fact that this voting system is meant to be open expression and if you did not want the community to use the negative votes when they believed them to be necessary then why let them use it.
