I would just like to make a request to see if we could have bop activated on the server, now I know it does require people to also activate the mod but with the ease of the launcher now even a complete moron could activate these mods without any problems as all it takes is - 'load launcher - click edit mod pack - select bop - click enable - load game - join server' Now when I say a complete moron im talking about someone with absolutely no modding or config file editing what so ever like myself.

I know this has been discussed in other threads briefly and passed over but I do believe that doing this will allow players more things to do within the server weither they are new or long term players IE some people really enjoy exploring and with bop it brings a lot more to the game which helps retain players to the server. It also adds a few really nice asthetic items that players can use to beautify there places with and adds more stuff for players to sell in the shop increasing the servers economy.

The second thing I would like to request is that portal guns be re-looked into as I am fully aware that the issue of them bypassing res is a strong drawback but if you allow them for support+ ranking then im fairly confident that the items in general will not be miss used to break any rules as the general statement goes 'people are less likely to miss use something is there is a lot of money on the line' also it should also be noted that any misuse of the items will be a Perma ban with no appeal as this would be a one time trust offer.

anyway I hope I haven't bored you too much with this request I really look forward to hearing the admins response on the subject.

hmmm I don't think its fully genned as when I was last on the live maps there was still quite a fair bit of black patches that hadn't been gened

 

I believe live map shows "explored" not "existing" according to various mod/admins.

 

In regards to the BOP/Disabled By Default Mods, the builders of the packs and lots of people on forums at the time the pack was being made, discovered that those mods in conjunction with there existing plans for the pack (mainly World Gene Mods) caused several issue with the existing mods. Now they left them as disabled for server's to decide to take a leap of faith into it, during our testing stage of the pack we decided for the motto if its disabled it stays disabled as we would have to inform everyone on which ones are enabled and how to do so, and the fact it required us to do more testing, which would of taking the testing to take longer (we wanted the release to be as fast as possible).

With the portal guns, 1 they do in fact bypass res 2 they can bypass pvp on a res via the moon 3 they chunk load, it will stay banned for all 3 of those reasons. Now in regards to banned items, we have added more Emerald+ items and some Supporter+ items, such as the wand of equal trade, the filler, and so on allowing for more options for donators and those items were banned in the ultimate pack.

In regards to Mods that are not disabled by default but are disabled, They broke stuff, they conflicted with the setup the server used and its alot easier to delete a mod then to change the entire server set up to get a few mods to work. Now with that said, in the future updates for our setup they may return and not cause the issues they have. In regards to Soul Shards and MFFS they will NOT be returning to the server MFFS causes way to much lag and Soul Shards Well to be blunt were used in stupid inefficient setups and are less configurable then MFR's Spawning so MFR was chosen as the replacement spawners.

Now just so i can use this post as a medium for the following message: In regards to DartCraft, as it currently stands it breaks the balance of the server, making things to easy = you finish faster. In the future, (according to the information i have so far) they pack developer for Unleashed (who is Aussie) has been talking to the DartCraft Developer to get configs in to either make it harder, so that it isn't so much and OP Mod. If these configs do by chance come in, then we will investigate to see if we can bring in aspects of the mod so that it is more useful.

 

I do believe you need to do more research before posting as some mods IE portal gun have config files that fix some of the issues you have stated above. Im not saying this solves the issue im just suggesting before coming here and posting reasons asto why you agree with something being disabled please do a little more research.

P.S also to iterate mods get updated all the time so there is new updates and fixes for existing problems something else to consider
