Hi I'm Volk. IRL I'm married with kids and work as an engineer at a local oil refinery (Buildcraft got me into mods in the early days!). I've played MC on and off for many years, including as mod and admin for different servers, but at the moment just looking for casual gaming with a bit of a learning curve. I've just started FTB a month ago (have played a lot of Tekkit before) and so far I absolutely love it. I think the server is great too, very fast and minimal lag (for a FTB). Looking forward to becoming more active in the community over the next few months, meeting people and making friends. Will try to help others as much as I can. Cheers V
I didn't want to post this on the reset thread, so I figured this is as good a place as any other! I haven't been part of this community for long, but I've been playing on the server fairly non-stop since I found it (addiction level over 9000...). I've tried to do the right thing - donated and helped other people where I could etc - and I've hopefully made some friends along the way. But I've become a bit burned out playing SB, and not too keen to go back to NM/EM with the looming reset - especially if the coming Christmas season might slow down the roll out. So I've started playing on another server. No hard feelings or issues from me, I just miss the Minecrafty stuff like exploration and proper mining. I've definitely enjoyed my time here, and I've learned a lot. Like being very careful setting up a kekimurus mana farm on my island lol And I'm thankful for good guys like Forsco, who has given me a heap of ideas for future builds.. Anyway! @Volk101 , Keep your eyes peeled as the reset could happen any time, just depends how much time everyone has free to make it happen. None the less I'm glad you've enjoyed playing here but burning out happens with any game. I took a big break from SkyBlock as well and went back to first person shooters for a few months. Hope to see your return when we kick things off with fresh servers!
