Hello, I have been on this server since oh when... mindcrack I want to say and we have not had a reset in the past 6-12 months and everyone's at end game now so I want just thinking a map reset might be nice some time, expecialy with the 1.1.7 update
i think you will find most people are waiting on the new mod pack Monster to become either full release/Beta-Stable
I agree that Id rather wait for the Monster modpack. I have played since the Mindcrack days too and the server is great! On Unleashed I built my base to the point where Im happy with it and have no need for a reset, and didnt really have a problem finding everything I needed.
with the new monster pack were also getting biomes o plenty so the map will need to be reset for that to be implemented so there is no choice on the matter its already been decided that its going to be reset - sorry for anyone who doesn't like this concept
I really want to have the below area for building. I need something like this to start my mega structure.
i'm gathering this is not a normal sort of thing to see... sigh Anyway ive designed on a mega build. I'll start small and work outwards, Its going to be up high, start with a central building and work outwards, I plan on building an island, a lake, and perhaps a volcano in the sky. But hey it depends on what the latest mod actually allows me to build. If i get zapped with slow tools, i may look at more structures and less lakes. However i hope to be able to build large!
Its largely dependent on the seed and the map size as to the odds of getting that particular biome. Looks like some sort of ocean cliffs or extreme hills variant. Worst case find a large mountain near water or suitable and then cut out chunks yourself and add water as required
