Hey guys, I lag. bad. if i dont talk to you when you ask me something, its because i dont see it. its not the server its my internet. now,some dickwit (resident at TheBotanicalGardens) set a death trap where i lagged out yesterday. as you can imagine this caused me some grief, but not to much as my latency was'nt to bad when i logged in. ok, cool. haha. THEN i got to my res and inside a well lit an un-accessable part of my base, FULL of mobs. not spiders, zombies and skellys, on the second floor, only access is a ladder and its well lit. I may be a noob at FTB but im a veteran at minecraft and there is no way these mobs spawned in that light level unassisted. Im not 100 percent sure how it works, but the person who spawned the mobs must have access to my res, else they would not be allowed to spawn stuff there, right? well i only have 1 other person on my res. Teamed up with this guy, but dont think i can trust him so, reading your server rules, i want 1/3 of his shit. lemme know what you guys think, i might seem overly pissed about it, i did laugh, but dont need added frustration to my already difficult game experience. poll.
The Botanical Gardens is licari's place, talk to him and make sure that he knows the trap andcan fix it or a Mod will have to intervene. Booby Trapping is against the rules
Or you can get better internet and then play? its not the owners fault that you lagged out. but if he put lava down where u lagged out that would be another story
yeah he put cactuses there. could i get better internet and then play? <.< i mean, i HAVE thought about it but really enjoy lagging like heck so.... lol no, ive had to move several times in the last 12 months while waiting for my place to be finished. so i got wireless to hold me over until i can get decent internet in the new place. How lucky am i, im my most recent move, to end up right on the edge of coverage. I know its no ones fault, I did state that fact, but would be great if people didnt play on it. I may have over reacted a little, I had just woken up and im old. but hey, if a certain player wants to play verses then turn TNT on. =)
Yeah, i thought i saw death traps as a bannable offence too. but anyway..... I guess you have to be with the "in" crowd. Server purple circles are very much a MC thing, so its not just you guys. I just want the same rights and respect as all players should get. I find it pretty shithouse i should bring this to your attention, and be threatened with a ban tbh.
What do you mean an "in" crowd... And no one threatened you with a ban, just warned you not to grief and follow the rules... Further more we treat everyone as "same" as we can and if you felt that licari had booby trapped you when you lagged out you need to bring it to a mods attention IN GAME. That way you can tell them what happened, the logs can be checked and bans/warnings can be handed out acordingly. You are being treated no differently to any other player on the server and venting and calling us unfair on the forums is not the right way to handle it. The internet part is your problem, the death trap is ours but you need to tell a mod in game not rage on the forum about it. And before you say there was no mod on/available, this is exactly the purpose of the /modreq system, put that in and a mod will find you. /rant ~Negotiate OUT!
naw sorry dude i dont mean to sound like im venting, the servers great. i have no dramas with you guys at all. i didnt say your were unfair... i just noticed the sharp "reminding" and took it as a bit full on, thats all. But yeah not my circus, not my monkeys and i dont mean to be so troublesome haha. You will find though i do post a bit in the forums, i like to because it encourages the community, so pretty much post a lot of stuff thats not so importaint. Im just trying to start a conversation really. I might sound like im critical, but text fails me and if you could hear my voice and see my face, you would all be smiling and laughing =) so sorry again. see yas soon poll.
